Most people take it for granted when they have more then one pair of shoes..
I don't, I was very close to my great grandmother who grow up in the Ukrainian.
When I was a little girl , I was only about 6 years old she took me to her closet and asked me "How many shoes do you see" I saw like most woman, or so I thought at the time she had many shoes pairs in her closet. Then she told me "My sister she went to Siberian prison for buying shoe leather to make extra pair of boots" Then she said "I came to America when I was young girl with nothing, now I have ice box FULL of food could feed 10 family's, I have house 4 family's could live here, I go to Dr. when I am sick not just go to bed to die, I have closet FULL of shoes and nobody can tell me NO and drag me to jail!"
"Best part" ...She said and pointed all around her...."I could give all away to church or to people come to visit and nobody can tell me NO and take me to jail! and tomorrow I could go to store again buy more shoes and food and NOBODY can tell me NO and take me to jail!"
That's when I realized with my terrible shoe fetish that I'd probably be in jail right now if it wasn't for Freedom and that it doesn't matter what I have or YOU have its all about Freedom.
